Throughout the first round, the neophytes traded punches in the pocket, Loughran getting the better of things early and Pacheco crawling back later in the frame. The Irishman shifted to grappling in the middle three-fifths of the second, dominating Pacheco on the canvas, carrying a commanding lead into the final round. In the third, Loughran continued to pour it on, continuing to punish the resilient debutant through to the final horn.

After 15 minutes, the judges were called upon to render a verdict, and all three saw it the same way, awarding “The Don” the unanimous decision victory and the first win of his UFC career. | Official Scorecards

“Mamba” stung Petroski with a sharp jab early in the first, but remained patient, ultimately allowing the former Ultimate Fighter contestant to clear his head and work back into the contest. Early in the second, Petroski changed levels looking for a single leg and appeared to get clipped on the temple, causing him to stumble to the canvas. Malkoun followed up with a thudding kick to the midsection and hammerfists, prompting the stoppage.

The 28-year-old looked much improved in the striking realm in this one and got things moving in the right direction again with his first finish inside the Octagon. | Official Scorecards
