TRAINING: I train twice a day, and I also do a strength and conditioning workout with the Blackzilians team.
When and why did you start training for fighting? Since I was little. My father is my trainer and he raised me with the discipline of martial arts.
What ranks and titles have you held? Brazilian Champion of professional kickboxing (K-1 rules), WFE MMA Champion, South American Champion of Shooto.
Do you have any heroes? My father is my hero. He’s a hard-working man and a warrior. I’m here thanks to him.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s a dream come true.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Physical Education – did not finish.

Specific accomplishments in amateur competition? Five-time Brazilian Kickboxing Champion; three-time Pan American kickboxing champion; three-time South American kickboxing Champion; Two-time Midwest Boxing Champion; Three-time Brasiliense Boxing Champion.
Specific accomplishments in pro competition? 69 Kickboxing matches: 55 wins and 14 losses.
