N/AMore Information
Daiju started training in martial arts two years ago because, “ I like fighting.”He was a 1998 JJ Grappling Tournament Winner. His first Vale Tudo fight was on PRIDE 3 against UFC veteran Emmanuel Yarbrough and he won by running in circles around the 680 pound sumo wrestler until Yarbrough pretty much collapsed from exhaustion and had to tap out from strikes. He lost against Lion Den's Vernon White in the 1999 ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championship in the 88 kg to 97kg class. He drew against Daisuke Ishii in a Pankration match in Pancrase in April of 1999. He trains with Akira Shoji (who defeated UFC veteran Guy Mezger in Japan) and Kaoru Uno, Shooto Welterweight Champion and all of the Keisyukai fighters.
