Biography
TRAINING: 9 or 10 am workout - sparring or grappling and technique. Rest in afternoon, then 5 or 6pm night workout of technique, cardio and strength training.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training while I was in my last year of college wrestling. It was an opportunity to continue something I really enjoyed doing.
What ranks and titles have you held? 2 time All-American Wrestler Division II, Division II runner up - wrestling, DFC Heavyweight Champion, SNMMA Heavyweight Champion, YAMMA Pit Fighting Runner up & M.A.X. Fights Heavyweight Champion
Do you have any heroes? I wouldn't say heroes but I have always admired Randy Couture and the way he has helped shape MMA into the sport that it now is today.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s an honor and a dream come true to be able to fight for the biggest MMA organization in the world.
Did you go to college, and if so, what degree did you earn? I attended college basically to continue wrestling and didn't finish up with my degree
What was your job before you started fighting? Plumber
