When and why did you start training for fighting? I grew up fighting in the streets as a misguided teenager. After coming to my Christian faith, I still had the will to compete. I stepped into a gym in January of 2017 at 22 years old.
What professional titles have you held? I have held the Fury FC Bantamweight Championship.
Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? I went 7-3 as an ammy with an ammy title, 2-0 in ammy boxing.
Any belts/ ranks in grappling disciplines? Purple belt in BJJ
What has been your toughest fight to date and why? My toughest fight to date was my 4th pro fight against Cameron Smotherman. We got the 2022 Fury FC Fight of the Year award. We broke each other’s noses early in the fight and pushed each other’s limits, for sure.
Who is your favorite fighter and why? Anderson Silva. He made me just want to be a fighter, period. His style, head movement, low hands and big finishes.
What was your job before you started fighting? Wind Technician
