Yair Rodriguez Visits A Children's Gym In Mexico

The Mexican superstar spent time with young students from the Don Antonio Rivera Venegas Foundation

Yair Rodríguez visited the Don Antonio Rivera Venegas Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts gym, which is focused on students from 5 years of age onwards, completely free of charge.

The Don Antonio Rivera Venegas Foundation Boxing and Mixed Martial Arts Gym is a complex in the town of Tlacolula de Matamoros, Oaxaca, in southern Mexico, where boxing, kickboxing and jiu-jitsu classes are given to around 169 children between 5 and 19 years of age in the community, completely free of charge.

The community work that is carried out is very important for the development of the community and its children. Channeling his energy towards one of the increasingly popular sports in Mexico.

For this reason, the visit carried out by the challenger to the UFC featherweight title, the Mexican Yair Rodriguez, who, during a visit to Oaxaca, gave himself the opportunity to visit his facilities and spend time with the attending children, was important. Being of great inspiration for them without a doubt, having the presence for a training session of one of the greatest sports figures that Mexico has given.

For the Mexican this is no stranger, since on many occasions when his schedule allows it, he shares knowledge and time with young people from his country, and other regions, always seeking to set a good example of the fruits that intelligent and constant work can toast.

Yair Rodriguez is currently in training camp for UFC 284, where he will challenge for the interim featherweight title on February 11, in his native Mexico.
