The opportunity to work with award-winning documentary maker Andrew Jenks and MTV was something the 23-year-old Milwaukee native never imagined would happen.

“I grew up watching MTV and never thought I’d get the chance to be on one of their shows,” Pettis, who is considered the top contender in the WEC’s 155-pound division, said. “It was an absolute honor to work with Andrew and the staff at MTV. I hope fight fans tune in to see Jenks join me in the days leading up to my fight with Castillo.”

“World of Jenks” airs Monday nights on MTV. In each episode, the 24-year-old Jenks focuses his lens and creates a bond with his subject to tell the story of one person’s life, bringing viewers closer to understanding someone else’s reality – everyone from a platinum-selling recording artist to a young homeless woman, from a pro-cheerleader to a young adult with Autism. “The World of Jenks” is Executive Produced by Andrew Jenks and Mike Powers.  Brent Haynes and Brooke Posch are Executive Producers for MTV.
