German native Nick Hein ready to get serious ahead of UFC showdown with James Vick in Austin, Texas, this weekend
Nick Hein really is a character. But then he’d have to be to hold down three jobs which are entirely different lifestyles: fighter, policeman, actor.
The day job, he says, makes him see that for him fighting is a diversion, almost a hobby. One he takes extremely seriously, yet which is the fun part of his life, a form of expression.
“I take it from my police job. It's serious business. It's a serious job and you need to be serious and reliable in so many situations. But, nevertheless, you won't get through the day if you can't keep your smile and your laughter,” he explained to Telegraph Sport.
