UFC recently partnered with the Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada as part of UFC 329: MCGREGOR vs. HOLLOWAY 2, which took place on Saturday, July 11, at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
On Tuesday, July 7, UFC athletes Caio Borralho, Jean Silva, and Ode Osbourne joined Boys & Girls Club staff and members to unveil the first-ever UFC Exercise Room and Nutritional Café.
“True partnership is about showing up and listening,” said Yolanda Mationg, Chief Development Officer – Boys & Girls Club of Southern Nevada. “Every time we connect with UFC, they ask, ‘What can we do to help?’ Their commitment to supporting our mission, not just with resources, but with genuine care, is why this partnership continues to make a difference in the lives of our kids.”
UFC athletes, partners, and community members came together for the event, which focused on giving the youth a meaningful experience while providing permanent nutritional, social, and educational benefits at the club.
Boys & Girls Clubs leadership kicked off the celebration with a ribbon-cutting ceremony inside the gym to officially establish the new UFC-themed rooms. The gathering drew more than 100 attendees, including students from the club and partners involved.
UFC brand partner Total Wireless hosted an activation table with notebooks, pens and water bottles, while Main Event Protein provided bars and tote bag for each student.
On Thursday, July 9, more than 1,000 fans attended the 2026 UFC Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, which took place at T-Mobile Arena. The annual ceremony honors contributors and athletes who helped shape UFC and left a mark on the sport of mixed martial arts.
During the show, former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira became the sixth recipient of the Forrest Griffin Community Award. Presented by NinjaTrader, the Forrest Griffin Community Award recognizes a UFC athlete for their exceptional volunteer and charity work and the meaningful impact their efforts have on the community.
Pereira, who serves as the founder of the Poatan Cares Foundation, received a donation of $25,000, courtesy of NinjaTrader and the UFC Foundation.
UFC also opened its statewide online and in-venue 50/50 raffle on Thursday, with fans being able to purchase tickets during several fight week events across the city. The raffle grossed $117,280 with net proceeds benefitting Nevada charities through the UFC Foundation. A winner was identified and claimed 50% of the jackpot, securing $58,640.
