UFC Announce Broadcast Partnership With Portuguese TV Channel BTV

UFC® today announced a three year broadcast media partnership for Portugal with BTV, the TV channel of Portuguese Liga NOS football club Benfica, the largest membership football club in the world.
Commencing with one of the biggest events in the sporting calendar this year; UFC® 189: MENDES VS. MCGREGOR, BTV2 will broadcast all live UFC events and over 100hrs of original content including magazine, documentary, in depth, reality and archival programming to audiences in Portugal. 
The partnership creates a unique opportunity for UFC as the main international non-football content shown on BTV2, therefore giving engaged audience’s new and exciting content and creating fans in a developing market.

The channel is the latest to join the exclusive group of UFC rights holders from Europe, Middle East and Africa, including BT Sport, Fight Channel, Setanta, Kombat Sport, VGTRK and Extreme, who will provide programming as demand for the world’s fastest growing sport intensifies.
