UFC and Crypto.com Team Up With Gian Galang For NFT Artist Series
With NFTs Becoming More Popular, UFC And Crypto's Collaboration With Galang Is The Next Step In Digital Collectibles.
UFC and Crypto.com has teamed up with Gian Galang, an artist and illustrator from New York City, N.Y., for its first NFT artist series, Crypto.com x Gian Galang, dropping on May 31 at 9am ET exclusively on Crypto.com.
The debut collection features current middleweight champion Israel Adesanya, current women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko and former two-division champion Conor McGregor.
The rewards of this drop will include three physical prints signed by Galang, five printed t-shirts and five UFC Venum Authentic Walkout jerseys. Any current holders of Galang’s previous NFT drops and airdrops or any UFC NFTs will have access to the drop 60 minutes before the public sale begins. Holders of any Crypto UFC collectibles will also be offered a five percent rebate.
Galang has created artwork for the UFC, painting fighter artwork as editorial illustrations for Vice’s Fightland, as apparel and event artwork for Reebok, as promotional artwork for EA Sport’s UFC 4 and as an official UFC Artist Series fight poster for UFC 268. This drop will be Galang’s first with UFC as artwork specifically as NFTs.
Galang, launched his first sold-out NFT collection with Crypto.com in January 2022. Focusing on martial arts and figures in motion, Galang has additionally created artwork for ESPN, Marvel, and Nike.
Since UFC announced its partnership with Crypto.com on July 7. 2021, where it became UFC’s first-ever global Official Fight Kit Partner.
