UFC And Canucks For Kids Fund Launch 50/50 Charity Raffle For UFC 289: Nunes vs Aldana

Proceeds to Benefit Canucks for Kids Fund Core Beneficiaries: Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, CANADA – UFC® today announced a charitable partnership with the Canucks for Kids Fund to host an online and in-venue 50/50 raffle campaign that will run throughout this fight week and conclude with UFC® 289: NUNES vs. ALDANA, which takes place on Saturday, June 10, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.

Online sales will begin at 12 p.m. PT today, as fans ages 19 years or older who are located in the Province of British Columbia at the time of purchase may buy raffle tickets online via rogersarena.com/5050. Fans will also be able to participate by purchasing raffle tickets at Rogers Arena beginning at 2 p.m. PT on Saturday, June 10, with the raffle closing at 9 p.m. PT.

This collaboration with the Canucks for Kids Fund is a way for UFC to give back to the local Vancouver community for hosting UFC during fight week.

All net proceeds from this raffle will support the Canucks for Kids Fund and its beneficiaries which include the Canucks Autism Network, Canuck Place Children’s Hospice and BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Since 1986, the CFKF has granted more than $87 million to charities that support children’s health and wellness, education, social impact programming and the development of grassroots hockey throughout British Columbia.

Raffle tickets are for sale at the following prices:

  • 500 tickets for $100
  • 200 tickets for $50
  • 50 tickets for $25
  • 5 tickets for $10
  • 1 ticket for $5

The winner of the raffle will receive 50 percent of the total 50/50 ticket sales, while the remaining 50 percent will go to the Canucks for Kids Fund. The winning ticket number will be posted online at rogersarena.com/5050 approximately 15 minutes following the draw. 

A winning ticket may be redeemed in-person at Rogers Arena by going to the Fan Services Kiosk at Sections 104, 114 or 310 of the arena, contacting the Canucks for Kids Fund via email at program5050@canucks.com or by calling the 50/50 hotline number at 604-899-7850.
