After a competitive first round where each man has some success and things got a little tense between the two as Yoo frequently looked to show up Santos, the Brazilian got right back on the attack after the break, taking the fight to Yoo and catching him backing up in a straight line with his hands down. As soon as he out him on the deck, “Willycat” seized the moment and scored the finish.
That’s now four straight wins for the Chute Boxe Diego Lima representative, who has always been an all-action fighter and entertaining figure inside the Octagon. The bout was fought at a 153-pound catchweight, which takes a little of the juice of Santos’ otherwise stellar performance, but if he can continue turning in performances like this going forward, the finish, and not the weight, will be what everyone remembers most.

Wiklacz was sharp in the first, getting the better of the striking and showing excellent grappling, attacking guillotines and hitting a beautiful sweep to arrive in top position. As the Polish newcomer started to tire, Mix started to seize control, working back into the fight in the second and turning in the most clearly effective round of the contest in the third.
They went the distance, leaving the judges responsible for determining the victor, and when the scorecards came back, it was Wiklacz that came away on the happy side of the split decision verdict. This was a close, competitive fight and a solid showing for the former KSW champion and promising bantamweight newcomer.

The two men ran mostly level for the first four-plus minutes of the fight, only for Shahbazyan to clip and hurt the Brazilian in the final 20 seconds of the round. Recognizing his opportunity, “The Golden Boy” swarmed, raining down punches and elbows that brought about the finish.
This was another outstanding win for the Dana White’s Contender Series graduate, who has really found his footing since moving to Las Vegas and connecting with Eric Nicksick at Xtreme Couture. Still only 27, Shahbazyan is still just inching into his physical prime, and looks poised to make another push towards the rankings.

The Xtreme Couture representative put Veretennikov on the deck early in all three rounds, spending long stretches in each frame working from top position, battering Veretennikov. Despite being the fresher of the two, Veretennikov was unable to work back to his feet or muster any sustained offense of his own.
Soriano earned a clean sweep of the scorecards, advancing to 3-0 since shifting to the 170-pound weight class. The Dana White’s Contender Series graduate is now 6-4 inside the Octagon and continuing to show room for growth as he gains further experience on the big stage.

Santos was the more active and effective of the two in the early going, fighting with a greater ferocity than normal after Chiasson missed weight on Friday morning. The former Ultimate Figther winner Chiasson started to work back into the fight in the second, only for Santos to end the frame by front kicking her in the face. Chiasson tried to press forward and take it to Santos in the third, eventually spilling her to the canvas, flattening her out and chasing the finish right to the horn.
When the scorecards were collected and totaled, it was Santos that came out ahead, much to the dismay of Chiasson. That’s now three straight for the American Top Team product, who has been a fixture in the rankings for some time, and should continue to move forward after this one.

The veteran came out far more aggressive in the third, taking the fight to Basharat out of the chute and landing the better shots for most of the round.
All three judges scored it the same, awarding Basharat scores of 29-28 across the board to lift his record to 14-0 overall. This was a strong showing after nearly a year on the sidelines for the 28-year-old Afghani bantamweight against an experienced and game opponent.

After getting controlled on the canvas in the back half of the first round Austin Vanderford, Brahimaj came out more aggressive in the second, hurting the UFC sophomore with a head kick. While Vanderford looked to wrestle and stay safe, Brahimaj scrambled well and eventually found a way to lock onto a 10-finger guillotine choke that forced Vanderford to tap.
Brahimaj is on a roll right now, earning three straight wins, finishing each time to maintain his 100 percent finishing rate. That’s another outstanding win for the Valle Flow Striking representative, who moved to 5-3 inside the Octagon with the win and 13-5 overall.

Hardy dominated the action on the feet for most of the fight, showcasing the diversity of her striking arsenal while flashing some grappling skills as well, including chasing a belly-down armbar at the close of the first. Walker had a modicum of success in the waning moments of the second, she couldn’t really build on it, only getting Hardy to the canvas in the final 90 seconds of the fight, where she was stymied in her quest to find a submission.
All three judges scored the fight for Hardy, who got back into the win column after suffering a decision loss last time out. She’s now 4-1 in her five appearances since returning to the fold in early 2023, showing she’s a still developing threat in the flyweight ranks.
