Respected strawweight contenders will square off in the Octagon on July 30, as No. 3-ranked Rose Namajunas takes on No. 6-ranked Karolina Kowalkiewicz in a UFC 201 bout at Philips Arena in Atlanta.
UFC 201, which is headlined by the welterweight championship fight between Robbie Lawler and Tyron Woodley and the flyweight title fight pitting Demetrious Johnson against Wilson Reis, airs live on Pay-Per-View.
Owner of a three-fight winning streak that has seen her defeat Angela Hill, Paige VanZant and Tecia Torres in succession, "Thug" Rose Namajunas is closing in on a world title shot, but to get even closer, she will have to turn back unbeaten Polish star Kowalkiewicz, whose 9-0 pro record includes two UFC wins over Randa Markos and Heather Jo Clark.
