UFC 160 Post-Fight Presser and Bonus Recap

Read below to find out who took home Fight Night bonuses at UFC 160...

Seven fighters joined UFC® President Dana White at the UFC® 160 post-fight press conference - Cain Velasquez, Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva, Junior dos Santos, Mike Pyle, Glover Teixeira, TJ Grant, and Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone.

By earning the only submission at UFC 160, Teixeira took home Submission of the Night for hi first-round victory over James Te Huna. After essentially engaging in a boxing match for most of the round, Teixeira pulled guard, and sunk in a guillotine choke that forced the tap.

Newly-minted lightweight title challenger TJ Grant received Knockout of the Night for his first-round stoppage of former top contender Gray Maynard. Dana White originally planned to give the bonus to junior dos Santos, but former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson convince White to award the bonus to Grant.

Former champion dos Santos didn't leave empty-handed, taking home Fight of the Night for his three-round war with Mark Hunt. "Cigano" staggered Hunt several times throughout the slugfest, ultimately landing a spinning head kick that put "The Super Samoan" to sleep. With the win, dos Santos earned a rubbermatch with rival Cain Velasquez.

All bonused fighters received $50,000 for their efforts.

Also at the post-fight press conference, former UFC® light heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin announced his retirement from MMA. Griffin ends his career with a 19-7 record, including victories over Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson.
