TUF 17 Finale Post-Fight Presser and Bonus Recap

Read below to find out who took home Fight Night bonuses at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale...

Eight fighters joined UFC® President Dana White at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale post-fight press conference - Urijah Faber, Scott Jorgensen, Kelvin Gastelum, Uriah Hall, Cat Zingano, Miesha Tate, Travis Browne, and Bubba McDaniel.

Zingano and Tate earned Fight of the Night for their show-stealing battle. Tate maintained control for much of the first two rounds, taking Zingano down repeatedly and actively seeking submissions. But Zingano gained some ground in the second frame, and rode that momentum to a third-round TKO. With the win, Zingano secured a title shot - and a coaching gig on the next season of TUF - against Ronda Rousey.

Browne received Knockout of the Night for his first-round finish of former top contender Gabriel Gonzaga. After a failed head kick attempt, "Hapa" found himself defending a Gonzaga takedown. Despite being pinned against the fence, Browne was able to fire off several elbows to Gonzaga's head that wilted the Brazilian.

Daniel Pineda took home Submission of the Night for his show-opening victory over TUF alum Justin Lawrence. The featherweight took advantage of an early takedown to secure a fight-ending kimura early in the first round.

All bonused fighters received $50,000 for their efforts.

Also announced during the TUF 17 Finale broadcast were the $25,000 bonuses for the season, with both finalists earning extra money for their in-show performances. Hall won the Knockout of the Season award for his spinning-back kick finish of Adam Cella, while Gastelum landed the Submission bonus for tapping out Josh Samman in the quarter-finals.

Fight of the Night bonuses went to New Zealand's Dylan Andrews and England's Luke Barnatt for their semi-final bout in episode 10. Andrews won that bout; both Andrews and Barnatt earned wins in their official UFC debuts in the finale's Saturday prelims.
