Not all headliners are made equal, and the matchmakers would be hard-pressed to put together a higher-level bout to follow UFC Freedom 250 than the one they made between Manel Kape and Kyojgi Horiguchi.
The flyweights, who fought nine years ago under the Rizing banner with Horiguchi finding the late submission, are keen to earn a title shot. One could argue that, other than Pantoja, Saturday night’s winner will be the most deserving of a crack at incumbent king Joshua Van.

Earning the title “prospect” is one thing, but putting together the results necessary to graduate to “real problem” is another. That’s the opportunity at-hand for New Zealand’s Navajo Stirling as he takes on veteran brawler Ion Cutelaba.
Stirling, yet another gem from Auckland’s City Kickboxing, opened his UFC account with three decision wins after earning his contract on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2024. In his first fight of 2026, the 28-year-old scored the elusive finish, knocking out the often-durable Bruno Lopes in Seattle and promptly calling out Cutelaba. The Kiwi got his wish, and Cutelaba, who has won three of his last four, is certainly going to give Sterling all he can handle.

Should Stirling manage Cutelaba’s aggression and stifle his grappling, light heavyweight could very well have another New Zealander to deal with in the top-15 along with current champion and Stirling’s teammate Carlos Ulberg.
A New Face In The Featherweight Division
Not that the featherweight division needed more depth, but Vinicius Oliveira is set to make his first 145-pound bid nonetheless as he takes on Andre Fili. Oliveira is coming his first UFC loss as he fell flat in his first main event opportunity against Mario Bautista. Oliveira underperformed but cited a difficult weight cut and injury in camp as to why.

As he heads into his fight with the always-tough Fili, he is singing the usual tune of happiness and freedom that comes with a move up 10 pounds. If he is true to his world, Oliveira is entering a featherweight division rich with intriguing matchups should he acquit himself well on Saturday.
