There's been a change of plans for the New Jersey debut of rising star Sage Northcutt on Jan. 30 in Newark's Prudential Center, as an injury has forced Andrew Holbrook from the FOX-televised bout.
Stepping in for Holbrook in a bout that will now be contested in the welterweight division is Arizona's Bryan "Bam Bam" Barberena, who is 7-1 in his last eight bouts, a stretch that includes a Fight of the Night battle against Chad Laprise.
The FOX-televised event at Prudential Center is headlined by the light heavyweight bout between Anthony "Rumble" Johnson and Ryan "Darth" Bader.
Barberena was originally scheduled to face Jonavin Webb in Pittsburgh next month. A new opponent is currently being sought for Webb.
