LOS ANGELES – With her next fight booked for more than two months already, and still more than a month away, Michelle Waterson has had a lot of time to think about Tecia Torres.
Waterson (13-4 MMA, 1-0 UFC) and Torres (6-0 MMA, 2-0 UFC) are two of the UFC’s most highly touted women’s strawweight contenders, and while their placement on the giant UFC 194 card in December hasn’t been made official, the pair is likely to open the pay-per-view main card – a high-profile position supporting one of the most anticipated cards in UFC history.
