Chikadze started well, flashing his dangerous assortment of speedy kicks. But Allen did well to deal with the attacks in the first, and as the fight progressed, the Brit started having more success, bloodying Chikadze in the second before landing the more meaningful blows throughout the third.
When the scores were added up, it was indeed Allen that earned the nod, with 29-28 totals across the board. After winning his first 10 fights in the UFC, this was a much needed return to the win column to Allen, who halted a two-fight skid with the triumphant return to England.

Gregory Rodrigues Octagon Interview | UFC 304
/
The power and diversity of Rodrigues’ game were the difference-makers on Saturday in Manchester, as “Robocop” wrestled in the opening round to shut down Duncan’s long-range weapons before uncorking power shots that backed up and busted up “CLD.” In the third, Rodrigues offered a little bit of everything, frustrating the youngster in the clinch and on the canvas, cruising to a dominant victory.
Rodrigues continued to prove he’s a skilled and dangerous man on the outskirts of the Top 15 in the middleweight division with the win, advancing to 7-2 in the UFC and 15-5 overall. For the promising Duncan, it’s another tough lesson as he looks to work forward in his career.
Paddy Pimblett defeats King Green by submission (triangle choke) at 3:22 of Round 1
Paddy Pimblett secured the biggest win of his UFC career on Saturday night and he did it in spectacular fashion, putting King Green to sleep with a lightning quick triangle choke.

Paddy Pimblett Post-Fight Interview | UFC 304
/
After spending much of the frame pawing at each other from range, trading kicks and landing very little of substance, Green shot for a takedown and Pimblett instantly attacked. First, he looked for a guillotine, but as soon as he recognized it wasn’t there, Pimblett switched to the triangle choke and put Green to sleep.
Just an outstanding showing from “Paddy the Baddy,” who remains unbeaten in the UFC and will find himself in the rankings when they update next week.
Co-Main Event: Tom Aspinall defeats Curtis Blaydes by TKO (strikes) at 1:00 of Round 1
Tom Aspinall blew the roof off Co-op Live in Manchester by blowing through Curtis Blaydes to successfully defend the interim heavyweight title.
This one played out much like his clash with Sergei Pavlovich in November, as Blaydes flashed his power in the initial exchange, only for Aspinall to reset, re-enter, and topple him with a short left hand in tight. From there, the Atherton man unloaded a series of follow-up blows that brought about the stoppage.

And in the final round, Muhammad went right back to the well, walking Edwards behind the tram line, changing levels, and taking him down, working to his back and withstanding the late barrage that left him split open and leaking.
The reading of the scorecards was academic as the final outcome was clear, with Muhammad earning the win, a sixth straight fight, and the UFC welterweight title.
Just a masterful effort from the proud Palestinian-American, who might have to do it again in order to truly cement his standing atop the 170-pound weight class.
