UFC will host a press conference with UFC 193: ROUSEY vs. HOLM main and co-main event stars Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm, Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Valerie Letourneau on Wednesday, September 16 at 2 a.m. ET (Tuesday, September 15 at 11 pm PT) at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne. The historic UFC 193 main event will see undefeated UFC women’s bantamweight champion and No.4-ranked pound-for-pound mixed martial artist Ronda Rousey (12-0, fighting out of Venice, California, USA) battle unbeaten No.8-ranked challenger and former boxing champion Holly Holm (9-0, fighting out of Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA). Fresh off of a 34 second highlight reel knockout over top contender Bethe Correia at UFC 190 in August, Rousey looks to cement her legacy as one of the most revered champions in mixed martial arts, as she goes for a seventh straight title defence. A former WBA and WBF female world welterweight champion, Holm’s world-class boxing credentials make her the toughest test of Rousey’s career.

The UFC 193 co-main event features undefeated UFC women’s strawweight champion and No.15-ranked pound-for-pound mixed martial artist Joanna Jedrzejcyk (10-0, fighting out of Olsztyn Poland) against No.10- ranked challenger Valerie Letourneau (8-3, fighting out of Coconut Creek, Florida, USA by way of Montreal, Quebec, Canada). A former Muay Thai champion, Jedrzejczyk’s elite technical striking was on full display as she battered top contender Jessica Penne at UFC® FIGHT NIGHT: JEDRZEJCZYK vs. PENNE in June to net her first successful belt defence. A talented striker in her own right, Canadian Letourneau turned heads when she defeated highly touted contender Maryna Moroz at UFC FIGHT NIGHT: HOLLOWAY vs. OLIVEIRA in August.
