Due to injury, welterweight Brian Foster has been removed from his UFC
129 bout against Sean Pierson. A replacement opponent for the April 30th
match in Toronto is currently being sought.
As part of the strict regulation of the sport, and as a safety precaution to our athletes, it is necessary that they undergo comprehensive pre-fight medical testing to ensure they are healthy and ready to compete. Preliminary tests have not cleared Brian Foster to participate in UFC 129 and further testing will not be conducted in time to clear him to compete.
