Fight Night Atlanta: Presser and Bonus Recap

Read below to see who took home bonuses at Fight Night Atlanta: Rockhold vs. Philippou

UFC president Dana White presided over the UFC Fight Night Atlanta post-fight press conference and announced the night's bonuses:

Middleweights Yoel Romero and Derek Brunson took home Fight of the Night for their three-round brawl, which ended with Romeo finishing Brunson with vicious elbows. UFC veteran Cole Miller earned Submission of the Night for his second-round rear-naked choke of Sam Sicilia. Headliner Luke Rockhold stopped heavy-handed Costas Philippou midway through the first round with vicious liver kicks to secure the Knockout of the Night bonus. All bonused fighters were awarded $50,000.

Rockhold, Romero, and Miller attended the conference along with three additional fighters on the card: Team Alpha Male's TJ Dillashaw, Brad Tavares, winner of five straight, and Philippou, who has lost back-to-back bouts following a four fight winning streak.

Miller continued to vocalize his desire to fight Donald Cerrone at 145. The submissionist said the two have had a long-standing beef and he's ready to finally handle it in the Octagon. Rockhold, who secured his 10th in in his last 11 fights, expressed his desire to get back to the top of the middleweight division and hopes to get a top-5 opponent in his next fight.
