Eye Meets Pena in UFC 192 Battle

Jumping right back into the fray at 135 pounds after a July setback against Miesha Tate, number six-ranked Jessica Eye will make a quick return at UFC 192 on October 3, as she faces former Ultimate Fighter winner Julianna Pena at Toyota Center in Houston, Texas.

Also added to the event is a flyweight matchup between Sergio Pettis and Chris Cariaso, and a welterweight bout pitting Alan Jouban against Albert Tumenov.

Tickets for UFC 192, which is headlined by the UFC light heavyweight title fight between Daniel Cormier and Alexander Gustafsson, are on sale now. Also scheduled for the card is another important light heavyweight showdown, as Rashad Evans returns to face Ryan Bader.

Returning to the site of her UFC debut against Sarah Kaufman in October of 2013, Ohio's Eye plans on making a statement against Pena, who impressively came back from more than a year away due to injury with an April Performance of the Night stoppage of Milana Dudieva.

Winner of two of his last three bouts, Milwaukee's Pettis is eagerly looking forward to getting back to his winning ways after a March loss to Ryan Benoit, and he'll get that chance against former world title challenger Cariaso, one of the most seasoned vets at 125 pounds.

Rapidly becoming must-see TV at 170 pounds, Jouban's four-fight run in the UFC has already produced three wins, two knockouts and two Fight of the Night bonuses. Russia's Tumenov has also won three of his four Octagon bouts, with three consecutive victories coming over Anthony Lapsley, Matt Dwyer and Nico Musoke.
