Welterweight striking specialists Jake "The Juggernaut" Ellenberger and Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson will meet in the latest matchup to be added to the stacked UFC 189 card in Las Vegas on July 11.
Tickets for UFC 189, which takes place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena and features Jose Aldo's featherweight title defense against Conor McGregor and the welterweight title fight between Robbie Lawler and Rory MacDonald, are on sale now.
In February, Ellenberger snapped a three-fight losing streak with a second round submission of Josh Koscheck that earned him Performance of the Night honors. In Thompson, he meets a fighter who has won four straight over the likes of Patrick Cote, Robert Whittaker and Chris Clements.
