UFC newcomers Misha Cirkunov and Daniel Jolly will be both chasing the same prize on Sunday, August 23, when they meet in the Octagon for a light heavyweight bout at SaskTel Centre in Saskatoon.
The matchup comes after Cirkunov's original foe, Sean O'Connell, was forced from the bout due to injury.
UFC Fight Night, which airs live on FOX Sports 1, is headlined by the featherweight matchup between Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira.
A native of Latvia who now makes his home in Toronto, Cirkunov is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt on a four-fight winning streak leading into his UFC debut. Austin, Texas' Jolly is unbeaten in five fights as a professional, a run that includes knockout wins in 10 and 16 seconds.
