British and Irish fans finally get the chance to catch a World Extreme Cagefighting card, as WEC 38 goes live online this Sunday night.

For the nominal fee of US $9.99, fans in the British Isles can log on and catch the live broadcast of one of the most stacked cards of the year from the UFC’s sister promotion.

Emanating from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV, the four-fight main card will be available via WEC.tv and UFC.com. Replays will be available for seven days after the event.

The mouth-watering main event sees Miguel Angel Torres - one of the greatest fighters in the world, pound-for-pound – defend his WEC Bantamweight world title against top contender Brian Bowles.

“I’m excited that my fight will be shown on an international platform,” Torres said. “I’ve actually wanted an opportunity to fight in front of the UK fans for a long time. Hopefully, the global internet broadcast will make the UK hungry for a live WEC event.

“From watching UFC events from the UK, it clear that the fans there are some of the best in the world. On Sunday, I finally have the chance to prove to them that I am the best fighter in the sport.”

Also on the two-and-half hour card contenders Joseph Benavidez takes on Dominick Cruz, lightweights Danny Castillo and Ricardo Lamas collide and Jeff Curran throws down with Takeya Mizugaki in a bantamweight tilt.
