Alexander Gustafsson has finally begun to open up about his “Fight of the Year” contender loss to Daniel Cormier at UFC 192 and what the future holds for his career.
Gustafsson (16-4 MMA, 8-4 UFC) was transported to a Houston hospital immediately following hisfive-round battle with Cormier (17-1 MMA, 6-1 UFC) earlier this month. He’s only made brief comments on social media in the weeks since his second failed bid at the UFC light-heavyweight title.
“The Mauler” recently conducted an interview with Allehande, a news outlet in his native Sweden, and discussed all things related to the bout. He started with describing the physical damage sustained in the contest. Read the full story here
