How do I stream Paramount+ on my Apple TV (4th generation and later)?

Whether you’re signing up as a new Paramount+ subscriber or connecting your existing subscription to your Apple TV, it’s easy to start streaming! As long as you stream with our supported models — that’s Apple TV HD and 4K, you’ll be good to go.

Supported models and versions

You can stream with most Apple TVs, including these supported versions and models:

Supported versions

  • Apple TV (4th generation)
  • Apple TV 4K

Supported models 

  • A1625 (Apple TV 4th gen.)
  • A1842 (Apple TV 5th gen., 4K)

Where to find the model number
The Apple TV model number can be found:

  • Within Settings
  • On the bottom of the device
  • On the back of the box the Apple TV came in

Sign up for Paramount+

You can sign up for Paramount+ on your Apple TV with these simple steps:

  1. Launch Paramount+. 
  2. Select "Sign Up."
  3. Choose a subscription plan, and tap "Continue." You'll be prompted to create an account. 
  4. On the screen, enter your full name, email address and password of your choice. Your email address and password will be your Paramount+ login.
  5. Tap "Subscribe." 

You can now stream Paramount+!

Stream via your device (existing subscribers)

To get started, launch the Paramount+ app. Next, use one of 3 ways to sign in to Paramount+:

On your TV

  1. Select Sign In.
  2. Choose On my TV.
  3. Enter the email address and password you used when subscribing to Paramount+ (not your Apple TV email address and password) and select Sign In.

On your device

  1. Launch the Paramount+ app, then select Sign In.
  2. Select On the Web.
  3. You'll be given an activation code. Make a note of this code; you'll need it for the next step.
  4. Visit paramountplus.com/appletv on your computer or mobile device, enter your activation code, and select "Submit". If you’re not signed in to Paramount+ on your computer, you’ll need to do so here.
  5. Your screen will refresh, and you can start streaming.
