When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training because of my brother Johnny Walker. He started first and I wanted to be strong like him. After, I started to help him and after that I started to be a professional.
Training: I’m at the gym Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 19:00. In the morning I train at 11:00 a.m. MMA, and at 4:00 p.m. for cardio and weights.
What ranks and titles have you held? I have five belts - three belts with MMA Series, one belt with Titan FC, and one belt in Brazil Arena Global MMA
Do you have any heroes? My hero is my wife - she works from 09:00 to 18:00 at an office job and then she takes care of me and helps me. And she takes care of our daughter. She is really the clean monster - she makes everything in my life be comfortable so I don’t think about nothing but training and fights. She is my hero.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? This is my dream from a young age when I was a kid, and after my brother became a UFC fighter, he made me believe that it’s possible. We come from a village where there’s not many people and now we’ve become something bigger.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to college for a few months, but I couldn’t do it. I need action.
What was your job before you started fighting? Waiter at a pizza restaurant
Favorite grappling technique: Leg lock
