When and why did you start training for fighting? I’ve always wrestled and always loved one-on-one contact sports. From a young age I knew I was very athletic, and I knew pursuing a professional sport was definitely a route I wanted to take.
What does it mean for you to fight for the UFC? It means everything to me. This is what I’ve been aiming for. I’m going to continue putting in the work, improving, and making my way to the top.
Who is your favorite fighter and why? There are so many talented fighters and everyone brings their own style, but if I had to pick one, Conor McGregor would definitely be up there.
Do you have any heroes outside of fighting? Everyone can be a hero in their own way and there are a lot of people I look up to, but to me there is only one true hero, and that is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
What are your current ranks in martial arts? Purple Belt in BJJ
Specific accomplishments in combat sports? I’m currently undefeated as a professional MMA fighter at 6-0. I wrestled from a young age and competed in boxing as a teenager.
Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I want to inspire others, help people, and leave the world a better place than I found it. If my journey can motivate someone else to chase their goals or help someone who needs it, that means a lot to me.
Beyond a championship or money, what motivates you? Waking up knowing that I’m still growing and learning every day motivates me. I’m grateful that I get the opportunity to keep improving my skills and make a career doing something I truly love.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I received a scholarship to wrestle at Triton College in Chicago and attended for one year. I knew from a young age that the traditional school path wasn’t really for me. I knew I was athletic and believed professional sports were the route I wanted to pursue.

Tell us about your life outside of fighting: When I’m not training three times a day, I’m usually spending time with my family, friends, and girlfriend. I also enjoy traveling with my family. I’m very grateful to have such a close bond with all of them because, at the end of the day, those relationships are what matter most in life. The goal is to continue improving, make my way to the top, and become a world champion. I know there is always more to learn, so I just want to keep doing the work every day and take advantage of every opportunity I’m given.
