UFC on ESPN (8/24/24) Loder stopped Robert Valentin at 1:49 of the second round to win the TUF 32 middleweight final

In the semifinals, Loder won a three-round unanimous decision over Omran Chaaban

In the quarterfinals, Loder submitted Tom Theocharis via arm triangle choke in the first round

When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training for MMA in June 2020

Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? D-1 All-American Wrestler 

Any belts/ranks in grappling disciplines? Purple belt in BJJ

What has been your toughest fight to date and why? Lujan Davis, he surprised me with how tough he was.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? Anderson Silva, He really understood the sport and made it look easy. 

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? University of Northern Iowa, Business Management degree and master’s in business administration 

What was your job before you started fighting? Assistant head wrestling coach at San Francisco State  

Origin of nickname: The only real nickname was Superman growing up

Personal Life/Background: I love the outdoors. Surfing, trail running, wakeboarding, snowboarding, backpacking, spear fishing, White water kayaking, free diving, anything outside with a little bit a danger. I live with my GF - we have been together for four years. No kids. I am the wrestling coach for TAM. I corner Max Griffin and Anthony Hernandez. I coached Michael Bisping’s son, Callum, at SF State.
