When and why did you start training for fighting? MMA became my lifestyle from a young age. I’ve always been passionate about fighting and training, and over the years it became everything for me. I’ve dedicated my life to becoming the best fighter I can be.

What does it mean for you to fight for the UFC? I’ve worked my whole life for opportunities like this, and being able to compete in the UFC is a chance to test myself against the best fighters in the world and show what I can do at the highest level.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? I respect many fighters, but my biggest inspiration has always been the fighters who dedicate their whole lives to the sport, work hard every day and never stop improving. That mentality is what I respect the most.

Do you have any heroes outside of fighting? My father. He taught me to believe in hard work and that nothing is impossible in life.

What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career and why? My fight against Borys Mańkowski was a very important fight in my career. At that time, he was one of the top fighters in Europe, and beating him proved to me that I could compete with and belong among the best fighters in Europe.

Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I want to represent my country in the best way possible and show people, especially young athletes, that with hard work, discipline and dedication, you can achieve things that might seem impossible.

Beyond a championship or money, what motivates you?Testing myself against the best in the world motivates me. I want to see how far I can go and prove my level against the best fighters. Representing my country also means a lot to me.

What was your job before you started fighting? I worked as a doorman for a short time. Since I was 18, though, my main focus has always been training and fighting. Sometimes I also give classes at the gym. But let’s keep that a secret.

Tell us about your life outside of fighting: Honestly, MMA is my lifestyle. I spend most of my time training, recovering and improving. I also enjoy spending time with my family and friends, but fighting and training have always been a huge part of my life.
