When and why did you start training for fighting?  I started training in 2013 because my friends encouraged me to start.



What ranks, and titles have you held? I have been an 8-time state champion of jiu-jitsu in the state of Pará, Brazil, 7-time state champion of jiu-jitsu in the state of Maranhão, Brazil, 5-time state champion of jiu-jitsu in the state of Tocantins, Brazil, 1-time state champion of jiu-jitsu in the state of  Sao Paulo, Brazil, World champion of jiu-jitsu in 2015, and champion of  Jungle Fight. BJJ brown belt



What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means the realization of a dream, and now that I am in the UFC, I will go after my next dream, which is winning the belt.



Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I started college but gave it up to pursue a career as a fighter.



What was your job before you started fighting?  Before I started fighting professionally, I was a gas station attendant.
