What does it mean for you to fight for the UFC? To fight in the UFC is my dream and has been my dream since childhood, but now that I achieved this dream my next dream is to become a UFC Champion.
When and why did you start training for fighting? I used to watch fights with my father since I was a child and I always used to think to myself as a kid that when I grow up I will become a fighter. I also used to fight in the street a lot growing up so it was a no brainer to become a fighter lol.
Who is your favorite fighter and why? My favorite fighter is Jon Jones, I love the way he controls his opponents inside the cage and his fight IQ is out of this world.
Specific accomplishments in pro competition? I’m a 5 time Kickboxing Champion in Georgia. 2 time Boxing National Champion.
What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career and why? I think my fight on the Contender Series, it was a Split decision loss which I thought I didn’t lose and if you watch Dana’s interview after my fight even Dana White said he didn’t think I lost. Bit it is what it is and it was my first professional lost and I learned a lot from that fight.
Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I want to use my platform to let the fans and everyone know that nothing is impossible and if you work hard you can achieve anything you want.
Beyond a championship or money, what motivates you? My family motivates me before anything else and after that my country, I know that if I focus and work hard I can change many peoples lives and I will do that.
What was your job before you started fighting? No I never worked, I always trained and my father helped me achieve my dream.
Favorite grappling technique: Triangle Choke

Tell us about your life outside of fighting: I have 2 daughters, I love them very much. My hobby is riding my horse all the way to the top of the mountain, this is the first thing I will do after I win my fight and go home to Georgia the next day.
