When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training at 15 years old, after having surgery for appendicitis. I got really skinny, and someone advised me to train. As soon as I started, I fell in love with the art, specially kickboxing. 

What professional titles have you held? Brazilian Kickboxing Champion, No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu World Champion

Any accomplishments in amateur combat sports? 3-time Kickboxing State Champion

Any belts/ranks in grappling disciplines? Blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu

Any belts/ranks in striking disciplines? Black belt in Kickboxing, Black belt in Muay Thai

What has been your toughest fight to date and why? Televised professional kickboxing match. I faced a very tough opponent with heavy hands, but I came out with the win

Who is your favorite fighter and why? Anderson Silva because of his unique fighting style

What was your job before you started fighting? Military paratrooper (Brazilian Army)

Origin of nickname: From being a military paratrooper (PQD = Paraquedista)

Personal Life / Background (family stuff, kids, etc): I have three brothers

What are your hobbies, activities or other interests when not training for a fight? I love being in nature, waterfalls, hiking, and flying kites
