When and why did you start training for fighting? I started in 2010. A friend asked me if I wanted to fight. I went to gym at 330 lbs and 30 days later hopped in the cage with no experience and here I am today.
What ranks and titles have you held? BJJ Proud blue belt
Do you have any heroes? My brother and father
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? When I started in 2010 I said I would be here, and only a few believed me, but being here is one thing; I want to make my mark in the UFC.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Yes, some, but I dropped out. My BJJ black belt, when I earn it, is my degree.
What was your job before you started fighting? I worked in banking and took a leap to chase my dream to put my family in a better place.
