Belts/ranks in grappling disciplines? Brown belt in BJJ

Who is your favorite fighter and why? My favorite fighter is Jose Aldo. I can relate to his story because we both came from Brazil with nothing. With sheer effort and determination he achieved everything. His story is an inspiration to me.

What has been your toughest fight to date and why? My toughest fight was in South Korea against a strong wrestler. The fight was very high paced and grappling heavy. It was intense from start to finish; but even more so because a UFC contract was on the line.

Personal Life/ Background: I love camping whenever I’m back in my hometown. Being surrounded by nature helps me reconnect and recharge. I also love spending time with my family since they mean everything to me.
