Episode 9 (10/7/25) Zaynukov won a three round unanimous decision over Lucas Caldas

When and why did you start training for fighting? I’ve been involved in sports since I was 11, but about five years ago I joined Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov’s gym. I immediately loved it, and from that day on I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to MMA.

What professional titles have you held? In Muay Thai, I was able to win every major title available to me.

Any belts/ ranks in striking disciplines? I hold a Muay Thai World Championship belt in the Intercontinental division.

What has been your toughest fight to date and why? I take every fight seriously. It’s difficult to single out the toughest one. I just step into the cage and do what I know best.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? My favorite fighter is Khabib Nurmagomedov. He built himself through hard work, determination, and discipline, and he proved that those qualities always bring results.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I graduated from Moscow University of Economics. I have a bachelor's in Economics

What was your job before you started fighting? My entire life has been devoted to professional sports; I’ve never worked outside of it.

Origin of nickname: My native village is called Chanko, and that's where my nickname comes from.

Personal Life/Background: I prefer to keep my personal life and family private

What are your hobbies, activities or other interests when not training for a fight? In my free time, I enjoy getting together with my team to play football and basketball. That’s what I consider my main hobby.
