When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training when I was 14. I originally wanted to be a boxer but the only gym I could find was kickboxing and Jiu-Jitsu

What ranks and titles have you held? Elite One featherweight champion. Black belt in Jiu-Jitsu

Who is your favorite fighter and why? George st Pierre. Because he is one of the best fighters and a great example of what martial arts should be.

Do you have any heroes outside of fighting? I definitely look up to our first responders and military

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? To fight in the UFC means that all the years of training and sacrifice are paying off.

Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I will be helping promote a youth center that will be opening close to my home town soon. So anything to help support the youth and our next generation.

Beyond a championship or money, what motivates you? Making my kids and  family proud

What was your job before you started fighting? A lot of jobs: personal training, construction, a little bit of everything.

Tell us about your life outside of fighting: I have 4 kids Korbin (11), Griffin(6), Knox (2), and Saoirse (2 months). So I spend as much time as I can with them. I hunt with my older sons. We have some chickens and meat rabbits so we take care of those. I'm a volunteer firefighter in my home town.
