When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training because I was a big fan of watching PRIDE. This motivated me.

What ranks and titles have you held? I’m a five-times MMA world champion in five different countries. 

Do you have any heroes? I don’t have heroes 

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? This means everything for me. All my life I’ve been waiting for this moment. The dream has come true. 

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I didn't go to college. I put all my energy into martial arts all these years

What was your job before you started fighting? I always worked on the weekends to pay for my jiu-jitsu and judo competitions, discarding trucks, moving houses and heavy things. I trained all my life.
