Q&A

When and why did you start training for fighting?
It just happened. It was not something I sought out. I just happened to meet everyone at the gym and started training. I was 19 when I started.

What ranks and titles have you held? I hold Various amateur titles throughout Ohio: NAAFS AM title , Ohio Boxing association AM title, and the Ring of Combat Pro title

Do you have any heroes? My coaches and friends

What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It means everything. I am sure every female says this, but my life has been MMA for many years. I never thought I would be here. I never thought WMMA would truly be accepted and I would be accepted for what I was good at and not what a woman “should” do, meaning that most women shouldn't or can’t fight. I couldn’t ask for much more out of life now that this is finally here. Now it’s just time to stay.

Did you go to college, and if so, what degree did you earn? I went to Akron University but never finished my four-year degree.

What was your job before you started fighting? Waitress and bike tech at Dick’s Sporting Goods.

Favorite grappling technique: Chokes

Favorite Striking technique: Old school boxing
