When and why did you start training for fighting? I started training because I wanted to be stronger and to know how to protect myself. After the first training session, I said to my coach Ignas Barysas that I feel that it is my path and my destination. I want to be a fighter!
What ranks and titles have you held? Hexagone MMA world flyweight champion. Two-time Lithuanian kickboxing champion. Two-time Lithuanian Kudo champion. World IGF grappling champion.
Do you have any heroes? My hero is my coach.
What does it mean for you to fight in the UFC? It’s one more step going to my dreams that a little girl created. It’s the biggest motivation and honor.
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? I went to college. I have bachelor and masters in sports coaching.
What was your job before you started fighting? Only sports in my life. I was a swimmer before fighting career.
