When and why did you start training for fighting? Started training at 14. I was getting bullied as a kid, so I started training for self-defense but fell in love with the sport.

What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career and why? My last loss against Andre fili, it definitely made me focus on a lot of things as a human. The way I live my life, what makes me happy in life, taking two back to back losses really helped slow things down in life. Wasn’t off a high off a win so it forced me to live life a little differently
Who is your favorite fighter and why? Ilia Topuira, Alex Pereira, love the way they carry themselves as humans and live a healthy lifestyle that helps them in the cage and very exciting strikers as well
Do you have any heroes outside of fighting? My parents
Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I want to show kids that anything is possible in this world, give back to the kids that have so much talent but not enough resources to achieve their dreams
Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Went to college for radiology for two years but haven’t finished
What was your job before you started fighting? Burying internet lines for an internet company with my dad.
Tell us about your life outside of fighting: A girlfriend of almost 3 years, no pets or hobbies. My favorite hobbies are running and playing soccer
