Dana White's Contender Series, Season 10

Week 1 - Hasan stopped Mridul Saikia via strikes at 0:45 of the first round

When and why did you start training? I started Taekwondo at five years old because my parents wanted me to build confidence, discipline, and channel my energy. As I got older, I wanted to become a complete martial artist, so I added wrestling, boxing, kickboxing, and eventually MMA. I’ve always loved performing too. Growing up I was obsessed with Michael Jackson and admired how he captivated people. I try to bring that same energy every time I compete.

Who is your favorite fighter and why? Conor McGregor. His confidence, ability to manifest his goals, and unique striking style inspired me early in my career. Coming from Taekwondo, I felt I could relate to a lot of his movement.

Do you have any heroes outside of fighting? My parents. Their sacrifices and support made this journey possible.

What are your current ranks in martial arts? 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Accomplishments as a Pro? CFFC Flyweight Champion with 3 successful title defenses

What fight do you consider to be the key fight in your career? Winning the CFFC Flyweight Championship and defending it three times. It proved I belonged among the top prospects and opened the door to Dana White’s Contender Series.

Is there a cause that you want to use your platform for? I want to inspire young people—especially Indonesians and Southeast Asians—to believe they can achieve world-class success with discipline, consistency, and the right people around them.

Beyond money or a championship, what motivates you? Legacy. I want to inspire people to chase difficult goals, proudly represent Indonesia, and become one of the most exciting fighters in the sport.

Did you go to college and if so what degree did you earn? Bachelor’s Degree in Health Studies from the University of Washington Bothell.

What was your job before you started fighting? Physical therapy clinic receptionist, security guard, busser, and martial arts instructor.

Favorite grappling technique: Sagoma Choke

Favorite Striking technique: Wax On, Wax Off

Tell us about your life outside of fighting: I’ve been with my girlfriend for nine years—we met while competing on the U.S. National Taekwondo Team. Outside of fighting I enjoy creating content, playing drums, singing, dancing, hiking, traveling, vintage shopping, collecting sneakers, finding new coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.

What is 1 thing that you want UFC fans round the world to know about you? I want people to know I’m here for more than just wins. My goal is to grow MMA in Indonesia, inspire people through both my performances and everyday life, and become one of the most exciting fighters to watch.
