Singapore Presser and Bonus Recap

Read below to see who took home bonuses at UFC Singapore: Saffiedine vs. Lim
Mark Fischer, Managing Director of UFC Asia, presided over the UFC Singapore post-fight press conference and announced the night's $50,000 bonuses:

Russell Doane won for Submission of the Night, while his fellow Hawaiian Max Holloway earned Knockout of the Night. Main eventers Tarec Saffiedine and Hyun Gyu Lim scored Fight of the Night honors for their five-round barnburner, which Saffiedine won by decision

Holloway and Doane attended the press conference alongside Royston Wee, Singapore's first UFC fighter, and Japanese MMA legend Tatsuya Kawajiri, who both picked up wins in their UFC debuts. Lim arrived late, partially carried by his cornermen, while Saffiedine did not finish backstage medicals in time to attend.

Lim admitted that his corner considered throwing in the towel after the fourth round, as the repeated leg kicks left him unable to stand; but he felt that being in the main event was such a good opportunity that he could not quit. In fact, he went on to launch a last-minute flurry that nearly finished Saffiedine.

Doane announced that he plans to buy a dog with his bonus.
