LIGHTWEIGHT TITLE FIGHT HEADLINES STACKED UFC® CARD IN SEATTLE ON SATURDAY, DEC. 8!

TICKETS FOR UFC® on FOX: HENDERSON vs. DIAZ ON SALE FRIDAY, OCT. 5
UFC® lightweight champion Benson Henderson of Federal Way, Wash. will defend his title against the relentless Nate Diaz on Saturday, Dec. 8 when the Ultimate Fighting Championship® brings the Octagon® back to KeyArena in Seattle, Wash.

Henderson is fresh off back-to-back victories over former champion Frankie Edgar and is also unbeaten since joining the UFC in 2011. Meanwhile, Diaz has reeled off three consecutive wins over Jim Miller, Donald Cerrone and Takanori Gomi.

Three other outstanding fights round out the main card. Former light heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua meets Alexander Gustafsson in a bout that could secure the winner a title shot, while former two-division UFC champion BJ Penn meets rising Canadian star Rory MacDonald in welterweight action. If that wasn’t enough, Mike Swick battles Matt Brown in a bout between two of the sport’s most exciting 170-pounders.

All of the main card action airs live on FOX at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.

“The fans in Seattle are amazing and I love holding events there,” UFC President Dana White said. “Well on Dec. 8, we are bringing them an absolutely stacked card!"

Tickets for UFC® on FOX: HENDERSON vs. DIAZ go on sale Friday, Oct. 5 at 10 a.m. PT and are priced at $300, $200, $125, $75 and $50. Tickets are available at the KeyArena Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, by phone 800-745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices do not include applicable service charges.

UFC® Fight Club™ members will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to this event Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 10 a.m. PT via the website www.ufcfightclub.com. A special Internet ticket pre-sale will be available to UFC newsletter subscribers Thursday, Oct. 4, starting at 10 a.m. PT. To access this presale, users must register for the UFC newsletter in the field at the top of UFC.com.
