Brisbane Bonuses and Presser Recap

Read below to see who took home bonuses at UFC Fight Night: Hunt vs. Bigfoot

Classic performances by MMA legends at UFC Brisbane made the post-fight bonuses easy to predict, especially with UFC president Dana White live-tweeting throughout the event.

"KO of the CENTURY!!!!!" he tweeted after the co-main event, and "Both Hunt and Silva win FON and both get their win bonus and I might buy them both their own private ISLANDS!!!! Sickest HW fight ever!!!" after the main event.

Indeed, Tom Wright, director of operations for UFC, announced at the post-fight press conference that heavyweights Mark Hunt and Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva pocketed an extra $50,000 for their five-round war, which ended in a majority draw. Former light heavyweight Mauricio "Shogun" Rua was awarded the $50,000 knockout bonus for his one-punch dispatch of James Te Huna just 1:03 into their fight.

There was no Submission of the Night award, as none of the bouts at the event ended via sub.

Hunt and Silva did not attend the press conference, as they were transported -- along with six other fighters on the card -- to the hospital for precautionary reasons. Their fellow heavyweight, Soa "The Hulk" Palelei was there, however, after his first-round knockout of Pat Barry; as was flyweight Justin Scoggins, who wowed in his UFC debut with a first-round TKO of his own.
