UFC 183 Guest Fighters Take Tour Of Famous Johnny Tocco's Boxing Gym

Ahead of UFC 183 featuring the superfight between Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz, the event’s guest fighters took a tour of the legendary Johnny Tocco's boxing gym in Las Vegas.
Hall of Famer Forrest Griffin, UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson, Carlos Condit and Paige VanZant visited the historic Vegas fighting mecca as part of a new initiative designed to give fighters a perspective of the history of combat sports.
The four fighters took in all the history at Tocco’s place, where boxing champions like Sonny Liston, Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson and Marvin Hagler have trained. Liston called Tocco’s gym his home and main training facility.
Tocco’s gym manager Luis Monda gave the four UFC fighters a tour of the gym and spoke about the history and importance of the landmark.
As part of the initiative, the fighters were also taken to the UFC Gym in Green Valley to help mold the future of the sport. They taught a children’s kickboxing class and helped all the students with tips, pointers and general instruction before ending the tour.
