Tyron Woodley believes he can secure title shot at UFC 174

"UFC president Dana White has said that the winner of Matt Brown and Robbie Lawler next month will determine who fights welterweight champion Johny Hendricks next. However, Tyron Woodley isn't quite convinced.

"'I don’t think anybody is getting awarded anything,' Woodley recently told MMAjunkie Radio. 'This is the UFC. You don’t think they can switch that and change the promos on the spot? I think it’s performance-based.'

"Woodley himself fights Rory MacDonald this Saturday at UFC 174. In the St. Louis fighter's mind, he can leap-frog either Brown or Lawler if he manages to put away MacDonald impressively in his home town of Vancouver this weekend."
